Designed exclusively for dinner service, each dish brings together fresh, seasonal ingredients with comforting flavours and thoughtful presentation – perfect for unwinding and enjoying a relaxed evening at The Tempus.
Sundays at The Tempus
Celebrate the transition from one week to the next by joining us at The Tempus for a scrumptious Sunday roast, complete with all the traditional accompaniments from 12pm until 3:45pm.

Afternoon
Tea
Delight in the delicate Tempus Afternoon Tea served Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s between 1:00pm and 3:30pm in The Orangery.
For every adult’s Afternoon Tea we serve at The Tempus, we donate £2 to The Great North Air Ambulance.
Please note we require at least 48 hours’ notice for all Afternoon Tea bookings.
MArket menu
Celebrate the flavours of the moment with our new Market Menu at The Tempus – a weekly-changing showcase of the finest local, seasonal produce.
Join us from 5pm to 6:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and enjoy a thoughtfully curated selection of dishes inspired by what’s best right now.
Perfect for an early evening treat, don’t forget to leave room for something sweet to finish.
Two courses £23.95 per person.
Steak night
Join us every Thursday 7 – 8.30pm for the perfect midweek treat, whether it’s date night or a catch-up with friends.
Enjoy two sirloin steaks, paired with your choice of wine, a pint of draught beer, or soft drinks – all for £49.95 for two.
Prefer something different? Our full à la carte menu will also be available.

Whether you seek the ideal wine to complement your meal, a cocktail for a celebratory evening with friends marking the end of the working week, or simply a coffee post check-in, we offer a variety of options for you to choose from.
