We know that pets have different needs, which is why we offer dedicated rooms specially designed for dog-friendly stays including our ground floor superior rooms and family room in the main hotel, Zara suite in Farm Cottage and our spacious hot tub rooms with private terrace in Farmhouse and The Lookout. For a truly special experience, our brand new Lake Cabins at The Tempus, opening later this spring, offer an exclusive retreat with stunning lakeside views.

Dogs are welcome to accompany their owners in our restaurant, The Orangery until 7pm daily. If you prefer to dine outside, our outdoor terrace offers a dog-friendly setting where your pup can relax by your side while you enjoy a selection of food and drinks from our menu. You can also enjoy a more casual atmosphere in our Tipi at The Tempus, where live music, drinks and wood-fired pizzas are served every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 25th April throughout the spring and summer months.

DO I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA TO BRING MY DOG?
Yes, there is an additional charge for an overnight stay, which is £30.00 per dog. This includes a treat box for your dog and the additional cleaning that we incur when you and your pet(s) depart.
CAN I BRING MORE THAN ONE DOG?
Yes, you can! We welcome up to two dogs per room to stay with you.
CAN I LEAVE MY DOG UNATTENDED IN THE ROOM?
We kindly ask that you do not leave your pet(s) alone in the room unless they are used to being in a crate. Pets can get lonely in an unfamiliar environment and may disturb other guests. If you do need to leave your pet(s) alone, please inform Reception and provide your contact details.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING FOR MY DOG?
We kindly ask that you bring your own bed and bedding for your pet(s), as well as their feeding and drinking bowls. Please also bring your own towels to clean muddy paws—hotel towels should not be used for this purpose. We do provide water bowls in the public areas and outside, but please note that these are for communal use.
ARE PETS ALLOWED ON THE FURNITURE OR BED?
When in your room, we kindly ask that you do not allow your pet(s) on the bed or furniture. If there is any damage to the room or excessive hair or paw marks found on the bed, you may be liable for a charge to replace damaged items.
IS YOUR RESTAURANT DOG-FRIENDLY?
Yes, The Orangery welcomes dogs until 7pm daily. Please be sure to mention this when making your booking. Our outdoor terrace is dog-friendly at all times. For the comfort of all our guests, please ensure your pet(s) are always kept on a lead and under control in public areas of the hotel. Pets are not permitted on the furniture or allowed to eat from our plates.
