Perfect for a satisfying lunch, our handcrafted sandwiches take centre stage, complemented by a variety of light bites ideal for sharing or a quick snack. In the evening, our seasonal dishes offer comforting, hearty options that are ideal for winding down over a relaxed dinner.
Sundays at The Tempus
Celebrate the transition from one week to the next by joining us at The Tempus for a scrumptious Sunday roast, complete with all the traditional accompaniments from 12.30pm until 4pm.
Don’t forget to save space for a serving of our delectable cauliflower cheese and, naturally, a tempting dessert.

Afternoon
Tea
Delight in the delicate Tempus Afternoon Tea served Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s between 1:00pm and 3:30pm in The Orangery.
For every adult’s Afternoon Tea we serve at The Tempus, we donate £2 to The Great North Air Ambulance.
Please note we require at least 48 hours’ notice for all Afternoon Tea bookings.

This charity has provided life saving services to members of our community and we invite you all to help us support them.
THE BAR
Our bar is open daily for cocktails, exceptional wine and beers, as well as coffee, tea and bar snacks.
Whether you seek the ideal wine to complement your meal, a cocktail for a celebratory evening with friends marking the end of the working week, or simply a coffee post check-in, we offer a variety of options for you to choose from.
COCKTAIL HOUR 4PM - 5PM
Enjoy 2-4-1 cocktails between 4pm and 5pm every Monday to Thursday evening in The Bar.
